The Scranton-Ewha Leadership Program (SELP) is a residential leadership development program executed by Ewha Womans University and Scranton Women’s Leadership Center. It is designed to accommodate excellent and outstanding future women leaders from Asia. SELP aims to cultivate the next generation of global women leaders based on the whole person pedagogy.

SELP is originally based on Scranton Scholar’s Leadership Program (SSLP) launched by Scranton Women’s Leadership Center from 2016 to 2018, which originally served to help young women students and professionals to practice their leadership skills as global women leaders and to build a global network with outstanding women fellows from all over the world.

From July 22nd to 28th, 2019, a total of 28 participants including 17 Scranton Scholars from 8 countries and 11 Ewha students (including 2 international students studying at Ewha) participated in SELP. SELP provided young Asian women participants with the opportunity to openly share each individual stories and understand their potential as women. The Forum provided a platform for women institutional leaders to meet, exchange and strengthen their leadership for women’s colleges and universities in Asia.
