“Thousand Faces of Science” by Profs. Kong Joo Lee and Joan Valentine shared some of the cutting edge research trends by world renowned scientists to widen the horizon of the seminar participants, and to provide inspiration for cross-disciplinary research. Prof. Kong Joo Lee is one of the foremost 1st generation women scientists in South Korea, and covered her research in “Journey from Molecules to Life”. Prof. Joan Valentine was the first woman to receive PhD in Chemistry from Princeton University, and presented the lecture “Oxygen, Manganese, and Early Life on Earth”.
